The Monument to Red Flag Canal was built on April 5th, 1990. It is 2.2 meters tall. The top of monument is archaized eaves It has six sides and 0.74 meters width each side with being engraved ：epigraph of “The Monument to Red Flag Canal”，the brief introduction and the sketch map about the Red Flag Canal, a quotation of Mao Zedong－ “Water is the vitals of agriculture” the introduction of main architecture on Red Flag Canal and the dissertation over “the Red Flay Canal spirit.”

In 1900s, Lin County’s people had striven for building the famous Red Flag Canal on the Taihang Mountainside and slogged for 10 years under the leadship of Communist Party of China. It is 1500 kilometers length and is praised for “the Water Great Wall of China”and “the World’s 8th Great Wonder”by Chinese and foreigners. It is not only a hydraulic project which brings benefit to people, but also increases one great view for Taihang Mountains. The heads of state and political, officials, businessmen, experts and people of different vocation who come from more than 140 nations and regions come to visit and tour sighting here.
After 1990, to adapting to Chinese and foreign tourists’demand, Red Flag Canal Irrigation Area Management Bureau made use of special condition of the Red Flag Canal and special feature of Taihang Mountains scenery and carried on developing completely three scenic spots such as Youth Cave, Fenshui Yuan and Luosi Pool with raising funds and pouring 10,385,000Yuan RMB into the project totally from 1990 to 2000.

The Youth Cave is one of main projects of the Red Flag Canal. It is 623 meters length, 5 meters tall and 6.2 meters width. It was started in February of 1960 and completed on July 15th, 1961. The rock was excavated 19,400 cubic meters. The Cave was named after “Youth Cave” as the participating commandos were 300 outstanding youths who transferred from the labourers of the whole county. In 1973 the name “Youth Cave” was inscribed by Guo Moruo. When you slowly enter into the cave by autoboat., you will see multicolored light when you go ahead 161 meters, you arrive at the 4th side cave of the Youth Cave－Xianrentai and enjoy the inside and outside sight after getting off autoboat.

Mt.Taihang Canyon which is well-known for beautiful landscape are attracted tourists from the home and abroard.It is great scenery that has extraordinary mountains and beautiful waterfalls.The Mt.Taihang Canyon enjoys reputation of natural gallary and this is regarded as involvement of landscape in Northern China .The Peachblossom Valley that it is located on the hillside of Mt.Taihang which rises to 1700 meters above the sea level. Seasonal scenery here is canicular days of hot summer,water freezes as in winter.However,when winter comes instead of being withered ,its trees around Peach Cave are in full bloom.

In golden autumn,athletes from all over the world gather the Mt.Linlv International Gliding Base which it's an “Asia Top and World First-class”gliding base. Florescence mean one after another the gliding parachutes fly over the wonderful mountain peaks and deep valley making a beautiful picture.
